I'm back and ready for so much blogging it is going to make your head spin!! So this means a blog post once every three months rather than six. I am so bad at this and I don't know why! I mean procrastination is a hobby of mine, but I should be doing this for the ones I love. So mom this one is dedicated to you...
So, we recently adventured to our yearly family hot spot, Ocean City, NJ. It is our one trip a year that we take as a "Donnelly" (and by Donnelly I mean Stephen's entire extended family) family. It is a week full of non stop boardwalk-induced gluttonous behavior that we as adults look forward to all year. It is socially acceptable to "check-in" (aka consume) your first adult beverage of the day at approximately 11 am. This of course does not include the day of crabbing where that begins at 8-9 am. Your hardest decision the whole vacation is deciding whether you are going to eat at Kohr's or George's for the most delicious ice cream you have ever tasted. Something about the way the milky mixture hits your palate with the scent of salt water and the sounds of seagulls chirping in the background. It is true relaxation.
This year we have been able to enjoy Mackenzie in a different way than last years past. She is able to walk, talk, eat, laugh, and get into just about every and anything she can. We tried to keep up with her with our daily activities, however, we found ourselves having to pry our eyes open at 10 pm so we didn't seem like the exhausted new parents that we are finally admitting we might be. We kept her busy during the day so we could put her to bed at a reasonable hour and still have time to enjoy time by ourselves. Wouldn't you know it we might have actually fallen asleep before her (she was laying in between us in the bed.) I wouldn't have changed a moment of my vacation for anything in the world.

| Her first Ferris wheel ride<3 |

| She got bored so we had to resort to singing "I love you..." |

| Crabbing morning... The worse you smell the more crab you catch... |
 |
| Don't judge. I did not smell the worst. |
 |
| Tony actually smelled the worst after jumping into the bay to "push" us to safety, and Sally just makes crabbing look good. |
 |
| I caught more than Stephen. Even though he states with every bite "this might be the biggest crab I have ever seen in here"... |
 |
| Part of the cooked batch! |
 |
| Kenz and the Elmo doll she wouldn't let the cashier pry from her death grip to balance our total. |
 |
| What can I say she make look Irish but her stomach says she's from Italy! |
 |
| She really liked biking. No, seriously though. |

Boy... By the end of the night I can't stay awake.
This year was another vacation success. As you are driving home you wonder what next year will hold in store<3
Cheers to a 2011 OCNJ and a great summer! Hope you all have been able to say or do the same. |
That looks like so much fun. I'm so glad you are kind of back on the blog wagon...I've missed you. That bottom picture of you and Kenz, you look just like you did as a little girl! Too cute.
